The Planning Binder is a lesson planning subscription service for teachers who want to see a mapped out year, and get the tools they need to start planning their best year yet.

Inside the Planning Binder, you’ll find long range plans like a scope and sequences, as well as specific teaching activities in concept plans. Each month I’ll upload documents to jump start your planning, and give a steps to apply the plan to your classroom.

All the documents in this planning binder are editable Google Drive files, so you can edit, personalize for your kiddos, and use them from anywhere.

Take a Look Inside:

What’s included in the planning binder? Here’s a peek.

Scope and Sequences

A scope and sequence outlines what to teach and when to teach it. In this document you’ll find a sample yearly outline for Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades.

Concept and Songs Lists

Specific songs to use with specific concepts are laid out by grade level in these documents. The sheet music is included.

Concept Plans

Specific teaching strategies and ideas are documented in the concept plans.

Look for two new concept plans each month, one for a rhythm concept and one for a melodic concept.
